The Ngenge Water Project addresses a need for the people in Uganda, in East Africa, in an area called Ngenge, in the lowlands off the slopes of Mt. Elgon, in the eastern part of the country bordered by Kenya. The increasing population of Ngenge has little to no water to survive. The water they do have is mostly contaminated, so that water-borne disease, from typhoid, dysentery, diarrhea, ensues, followed by death. Children are especially vulnerable. Although the land is fertile, the lack of water for irrigation precludes agriculture; their meager subsistence is mostly from charcoal making, from the few trees that are now left. So much despair. Yet, so much hope! If they could just have water, they could live. They could grow crops. They could have a future. This project addresses Ngenge's water problem in detail and proposes a God-inspired, life changing solution. You can play a part! Foshee Management Company is a corporate partner of the Ngenge Water Project.
